well its being very slow at the moment.
need to get the whole concept for the project sorted today.
at the moment i'm thinking along the lines of a dating agency where people meet online, then go on a bike ride - they might have nothing in common at all other than cycling.
could be a bit cheeky - banners on other sites saying 'find single-speeds in your area!' (bikes with one gear), and 'i just wanna take it slow...' etc.
i'm not sure if the dating thing is the right solution, but its the right kind of line - bit more interesting than just routes.
Now i'm going up to Velorution near oxford st. they sell loads of things like big dutch bikes & aren't really aimed at racers or anything - hoping to get some inspiration!

Having another group review of progress early next week so if you can resolve the issue you are raising on your blog about rationale and unique outcomes by then, that would be good.

Chris! Have you contacted tfl and defra yet? If you look at their past campaigns and how they tackle this issue that could be very useful. Also mention your idea and see what they think of it, and any suggestions they can make. They may even consider your proposal for real u never know!
Rav! cheers for the comment. have looked at a few things from tfl, they are very informative and useful, but all have a kind of TfLness about them. will take a look at defra's stuff now.
and you're right about contacting them, but i need a solid rationale before i do that. cheers!
